Below you can find a general overview of various projects. Please note that we regularly complete ongoing projects and introduce new ones.
Administrate the network and build infrastructure
A key task is to keep track of the network in the dormitories and regularly update the hardware and software.
We already supply most of the large dormitories in the Stuttgart region, but not all of them yet. Our goal is to gradually integrate the remaining dormitories into our network. Additionally, the existing infrastructure needs to be continuously expanded, such as the current upgrade of the Wi-Fi.
Administrate services and create new ones
We manage the services listed on the services page. If we come up with a new, exciting service idea, we simply add it!
Monitor servers and switches
We don’t just want them to work; we want to proactively know if something is going wrong and try to make the network and services more reliable. This is necessary because all technology needs regular maintenance and even then it’s still possible for it to fail.
